Royal HaskoningDHV have been engaged by Irish Water to provide expertise on sustainable wastewater reduction treatment technology, Nereda®, to the Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project.
Originally designed to treat wastewater for a capacity of 1.64 million PE (population equivalent), the Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant is currently operating over capacity at 1.9 million PE. The Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project is a vital upgrade for the community as the population of Ireland is in continuous growth therefore the economic needs of the area are expanding.
The Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project is expected to be completed in early 2020.vital upgrade for the community as the population of Ireland is in continuous growth therefore the economic needs of the area are expanding.
Aquatec Maxcon is the exclusive Australian Partner for Nereda® Technology. Currently, Aquatec Maxcon is commissioning Kingaroy WWTP, the first Nereda® Plant in Australia.
